This instrument belonged to Paco de Lucia – temporarily Paco played this guitar on stage. It is a Hermanos Conde build by Faustino and Mariano Conde in 1980 – especially for Paco de Lucia.
Also this “family guitar” was played by Ramon de Algeciras (Paco’s elder brother), Jose Maria Bandera Sanchez (Paco’s nephew) and Antonio Sanchez Palomo (Paco’s nephew).
Paco played this instrument on his concert tours in the 80s with his nephew Jose Maria Bandera Sanchez and Juan Manuel Canizares. 1992 he gave this guitar to his brother Antonio Sanchez Gomez. After his father’s death Antonio's son Antonio Sanchez Palomo sold this instrument to flamencoguitarsforsale.net. mundo-flamenco.com purchased this instrument.
This unique instrument is now owned by fg.NET and part of the personal collection. It is a highlight of the virtual flamenco guitar museum and fg.NET is proud to own such an instrument.
All the above is perfectly certified in writing by Antonio Sanchez Palomo in a document where the origin and history of the instrument is explained, and by Felipe Conde in a second document that certifies that the guitar was delivered by Faustino and Mariano Conde directly to Paco de Lucia in 1980.
This guitar has been used by Paco de Lucia on stage as evidenced by videos like the one below, where Paco plays his tangos "La Canada" with this guitar with Juan Manuel Cañizares and José María Bandera. Also check the gallery for more pictures.
The instrument has German spruce top with exceptional fine grain and rosewood back and sides. The scale length is 652 mm. The sound is typical Paco. The basses are velvety and deep, the trebles are sweet and crystalline, with sustain and projection. The neck is comfortable to play.
The conservation condition of the flamenco guitar is excellent and original in its entirety, without cracks. There is an impact mark on the back of the head, at the junction between the neck and head, which was perfectly repaired and stabilized at the time. The top saddle (nut) was moved 3 millimeters to achieve absolute perfection in tuning the instrument.
The instrument is left in the exact condition as Paco used to play it.

Dieses Instrument gehörte Paco de Lucia - zeitweise spielte er diese Gitarre auf der Bühne. Es ist eine Hermanos Conde gebaut 1980 von Faustino und Mariano Conde, speziell für Paco de Lucia. Auch wurde diese “Familien Gitarre” von Ramon de Algeciras (Pacos älterer Bruder), Jose Maria Bandera Sanchez (Pacos Neffe) und Antonio Sanchez (Pacos Neffe) gespielt.
Paco spielte dieses Instrument in den 80er Jahren auf den Konzert-Tourneen mit seinem Neffen Jose Maria Bandera Sanchez und Juan Manuel Canizares. 1992 gab er diese Gitarre seinem Bruder Antonio Sanchez Gomez. Nach seinem Vaters Tod verkaufte Antonios Sohn Antonio Sanchez Palomo dieses Instrument an flamencoguitarsforsale.net. mundo-flamenco.com kaufte dann dieses Instrument an.
Dieses einzigartige Instrument ist jetzt im Besitz von fg.NET und Teil der persönlichen Sammlung. Es ist ein Highlight im virtuellen Flamenco Gitarren Museum und fg.NET ist stolz so ein Instrument zu besitzen.
Das oben Gesagte ist schriftlich belegt in einem Dokument von Antonio Sanchez Palomo, wo die Herkunft und die Geschichte des Instruments erläutert werden. Ein zweites Dokument – geschrieben von Felipe Conde - bescheinigt, dass die Gitarre 1980 direkt von Faustino und Mariano an Paco de Lucia übergeben worden ist.
Diese Gitarre wurde von Paco de Lucia auf der Bühne gespielt. Dies belegen Videos wie dies unten, wo Paco seinen Tangos "La Canada" auf dieser Gitarre zusammen mit Juan Manuel Canizares und Jose Maria Bandera spielt. Die Galerie zeigt weitere Bilder.
Das Instrument hat eine deutsche Fichten-Decke mit aussergewöhnlich feiner Maserung. Boden und Zargen sind aus Palisander. Die Mensur ist 652 mm. Der Klang ist typisch Paco. Die Bässe sind samtig und tief - die Höhen süß und klar mit Sustain und Tragweite. Der Hals ist angenehm zu spielen.
Der Zustand der Flamenco Gitarre ist sehr gut und original in seiner Gesamtheit - ohne Risse. Auf der Rückseite des Kopfes, am Übergang zwischen Hals und Kopf, gibt es eine Einschlagstelle die perfekt repariert und stabilisiert wurde. Der obere Sattel wurde 3 Millimeter bewegt, um absolute Perfektion bei der Stimmung des Instrumentes zu erreichen.
Das Instrument wurde unverändert so belassen wie Paco es gespielt hat.
